Not all buffet style restaurants are created equal, and there are a number of factors that determine this.
Good Chicago restaurants are not hard to come by, but a good Chicago buffet, that serves gourmet food like we do at the Red Apple Buffet, is a rare find for sure. At Red Apple Buffet we pride ourselves on offering variety, quality, and a great atmosphere all at an affordable price that you can afford. So many restaurants are having to raise their prices these days in order to make ends meet, so eating out has become much more expensive that it used to once be. For this reason fewer and fewer people are dining out these days. Buffets offer a more affordable way to dine out, but most buffets offer the same things as all the others, with very little variety or quality. Red Apple Buffet is different because we offer a wide variety of wonderful Polish specialties, as well as other specialties from around the world. We offer variety like you have never seen in a Chicago buffet restaurant ever before. When you visit the Red Apple Buffet you will have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of meats and fish, vegetables, side dishes, soups, pastas, salads, desserts, and more. There is truly something on one of our many buffets that will satisfy anyone, no matter how selective or how big their appetite. There is a reason why Red Apple Buffet is considered one of the best Chicago restaurants around, and it’s because you get so much quality and so much value from one restaurant, something that is no doubt difficult to find these days. Seeing it is believing it, though, so come on in to the Red Apple Buffet and let us prove to you that good value can still come at affordable prices, even in the 21st century.
This place was pretty good. I have been there a few times and the food quality have been pretty consistent. Flavor is good, and the place it clean. "

Damn this sh*t is good! All you can eat buffet stocked with your polish favorites. So what is the potatoe pancakes are so greasy no napkin can effectively soak up the grease. So what if some of the stuff is only luke-warm. Its f*cking delicious. (Not in a gourmet way, but in an affordable, I-might-be-hungover-or-dying-from-starvation kind of way). And all for 10 bucks (or thereabouts).
And they serve beer. For cheap (surprise).
Go and try it. Just for fun. "

This is at least once a year place for me. Especially in the winter when you need your extra insulation on your body.
It's a huge Polish buffet for $9!
To give you a sense of how big, I only discovered the second buffet table around the corner the third time I was here. "

We come here for lunch about twice a month. The food is decent and with the price at at $12 per person for the buffet and a soft drink it is a pretty good deal. Buffet is plentiful with all that is expected salads, main entrees and deserts. I enjoy the meatballs and schnitzels. "
